Trace rebuilding is a specialized service focused on restoring damaged or broken circuit board traces and components. Over time, PCB traces can be damaged due to wear, heat, or accidents, which can cause circuit malfunctions or failure. This service involves carefully repairing or rebuilding those traces, ensuring the board’s electrical paths are intact and functional.
The act of tracing out a circuit and rebuilding a trace go hand in hand. For this reason they are the same cost. For multi layer and high density boards, construction of automated bed of nails is required, and trace repair may not be possible.
-Two layer and single layer boards $10.00 per trace. For orders exceeding $100.00 40% deposit is required.
-Multilayer boards none BGA $15.00 per trace. For orders exceeding $150.00 60% deposit is required, Re-balling and reflow fees may apply.
-BGA/PGA high density $150.00 evaluation for RFQ.
